My Zoo

Here I will put photos and random stories about my feathered/ fur covered kids!!  We love our animals, and the joy they bring to our lives.  I am a huge people watcher, since I dont leave the house so much anymore, it has been very relaxing to me to watch my animals and their interactions with each other.  I think alot more goes on in their heads than people give them credit for and they do show emotions on their faces.

STEWIE

Last night I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep.  The house was quiet and dark.  All of a sudden I heard a loud crash from somewhere in the house.  Then I hear a little gravely voice say "What Was That?!?!"  It was my green cheek conure Stewie.  The noise must have startled him too.  When there is a loud noise that makes him jump I always say, "What was that?  ITs ok stewie, Dont be scared"  lol he repeated the first part.  I almost wet myself laughing.  I had to be careful not to wake up my husband with my laughter.  I love it when he talks.  He says stuff all the time, but its always the same things.  I get a kick when I hear him say something new I didnt know he could say.  It makes me feel good because I know he is listening to me when Im talking to him like a crazy person lol.  He is such a clown and he brings so much love and laughter into my life.  He never ceases to amaze me.

SMUSH

This is my baby smush, she is my best friend.  Her and the dog Ellie are my nap buddies.  All I have to do is say "come on, nap time" and they both race down the hall to the bedroom door and wait for me.  She sleeps on the pillow above my head with her paws on my hands. (its nice because her paws are warm, and they make the pain in my fingers feel better) and Ellie sleeps uner the covers curled up in the curve of my legs.
